Initially we designed our smallest Jay to be 2.3m x 1.9m, however having installed one at our show centre, it was clear that a smaller office could still give practicality when space is of the essence.
After a discussion with these clients, they agreed the size would work for them and this in fact was our first 2.3 x 1.3m office we installed.
The building had the EPDM upgrade, giving extra height throughout the building plus the complete 10 year guarantee and 50 year life expectancy with zero maintenance.
The UPVC door was right hand hinged with a window to the left and we installed cement walls to the rear on both sides. The building had MTX cladding to the front along with the trim pack and fascia upgrade.
The clients chose to have our gold service level which included the base, electrics, internet and internal painting. They also added climate control to ensure the temperature is perfect whatever the weather.
Martin’s comments:
'It was great to see the first 1.3m deep office being used and confirmed that it is more than practical and perfect for the smaller spaces. The addition of the EPDM roof with extra height really stands out with these smaller buildings. The client’s sound-deadening interior wall design and reflective glass were two great additions for conversations within the building and any echo, along with privacy from neighbours. It was great to see how happy the clients were with the building and it's being used daily, even at night for gaming use.'
