The Project
Mr and Mrs F were looking for a large garden room that could be used as a home cinema and also where they could house and use a full sized table-tennis table.
After the site survey was conducted it was decided that a storage area to the rear would store the table-tennis table when not in use, along with various other items. This would keep the building interior tidy when being used as a cinema.
The Work
The building was based on our classic Kestrel and was painted in Sadolin Superdec, with an upgrade to the contemporary door and window furniture. We fitted a steel and timber framed base and extended this out to include a decking area to access the rear storage section and the building was then installed on this. Internally it was insulated to the four walls roof and floor and finished in our TGV timber lining and all the glass was double glazed.
As the building was viewed from the side, we complemented the external colour with our black slate tile option.
