The Project
This customer was recommended to us through Home Counties swimming pools that we have worked alongside on a number of previous projects.
Upon conducting the site survey, all elements of the building options were discussed. Serious consideration was given to the building's base and general site access as this had to be made via the interior of the house.
Normally in this situation we would install a steel and timber frame base, however due to the massively increased weight of a swimming pool, a reinforced concrete base was required and we quoted to have this pumped through the house. Furthermore, all of the building panels were made in smaller sections along with the swimming pool that comes in kit form.
The Work
Whilst pouring the base, we also cast and laid concrete to the rear of the base and path at a lower level to not only give access to the pump-house, but also to provide the base for a small shed that would fit onto this. Once the concrete had dried, we set to work with the installation of the building - ready to accept the Endless Swimming Pool.
Once the installation was complete, we handed over to Home Counties pool's and their Pool installation team and electrician not only got the Pool completed, but also installed all the electrics required including remote IP 65 wet room lights and sockets, and mural digital Pool speed indicator.
The Result
The room was then handed back to us to get the last bits of trimming and Aqua step wet room flooring complete and ready for customer handover. As always we love working with Home Counties swimming pools and giving the customer a seamless project from start to finish.
